Good morning everybody,
I hope you all enjoyed learning about Saint George yesterday. I saw some amazing Coats of Arms Shields.
Today's activity is Design and Technology.
The Minibeasts need your help! They need you to design a Minibeast Hotel for them to live in. Look at the following web site to find out what a Minibeast Hotel actually is.
Imagine you have sticks, leaves, old plant pots, twigs, empty plastic bottles that are clean, string; you might have some of these things in your garden or in your home. How might you use these resources to create a home for a minibeast? You can draw and label your Minibeast Hotel in your Homework Book. I have attached some photographs of examples. If you have some of these resources at home you might want to actually make one. If you do make a Minibeast Hotel think very carefully about where you will position it in your garden so that minibeasts can access it easily. Check your Minibeast Hotel every day and record a tally of how many minibeasts and what tyoe of minibeast is using your Hotel. You might like to send a photograph of your Minibeast Hotel to Class Dojo.
