In school we have many WOW days throughout the year. This is where we focus a day, as a whole school, to learn about something specific. The children get to take part in lots of fun, exciting and creative activities to support their learning. 

Science WOW Day - November 2021

Sublime Science came into school so that the children could all take part in a science activity where they made slime!  In the classes they also took part in lots of different science experiments where they learned about some scientists too!

Diwali WOW Day - November 2021

The children have had a wonderful day learning about the festival of light which is celebrated by Hindus and Sikhs.  They have read the story of Rama and Sita, made a Diva lamp class wreath and learned about how this festival is celebrated.  The children in Key Stage 1 made lassi and coconut barfi too.  An exciting day was had by all!

Chinese New Year WOW Day - February 2019

 The children have had a wonderful day learning about the Chinese culture, themed around Chinese New Year. They have really enjoyed trying prawn crackers, noodles and fortune cookies, as well as taking part in other fun and creative Chinese New Year inspired activities.

Tanzania WOW Day - January 2019
