Good morning everybody.  I hope you enjoyed researching Minibeasts yesterday.  Thank you to all of those children who posted a photograph of their work, they were amazing.

Today's Challenge is Maths!

I would like you to practise your skills in Division.

First of all I would like you to go onto:

www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/hit-the-button

Select Division Facts and practise dividing by 2, 5 and 10 then if you feel brave enough, divide by 3!  If you find it tricky, use a number line to help you solve the calculation like we did in class (see the attachment to remember how to do this).  When you feel confident, then play the game Hit the Button against the timer.  If you get a low score to begin with, don't worry just keep practising!

When you feel confident with your dividing skills, have a go at solving the problems on the Activity Cards attached.  If you don't have a printer don't worry, you can just draw the groups in your Homework Book and record your answer.
