Good morning Year 2. I hope you are all having a lovely time at home and keeping safe.
Today's Challenge is History!
Can you remember we started learning about when our school was built? Can you remember what year it was built? It was built in 1893 in Victorian Times. Today I would like you to learn a little bit more about what school was like for Victorian children. If you still have your Victorian costume that you were going to wear for our Victorian Day, you might like to wear it today!

In the search engine type in KS1 Schools in the Past Powerpoint and then download the powerpoint for free. Read the information in the powerpoint that will tell you what schools were like a long time ago. Think about:
What is similar between the schools a long time ago and our school today.
What is different between the schools a long time ago and our school today.
If you would like to write some interesting facts about what schools were like a long time ago and draw pictures you can do so in your Homework book.
For a little bit of fun, practise writing out 'I must not chatter in lesson time' 100 times! Why might you recieve this punishment?
