Good morning Year 2. I hope you had fun yesterday looking for minibeasts! Thank you to all those children who sent me photographs of their learning on Class Dojo, they were lovely to see.
Today's Challenge is Reading!
Make a Reading Den in one of the rooms in your home. You can use pillows, cushions, blankets, covers etc to make it cosy. Now choose a book and settle down to read it.
Extension: Write a review about your book in your Homework Book. Write the title of the book, the name of the author and whether it is fiction ( a story) or non-fiction (information).
If it is a fiction book tell me where the story is set, who the main character/s are, what happens in the story, what the problem is and how it is resolved. Finally tell me who you would recommened this book to and why.
If it is a non-fiction book write interesting facts that you have found out. You might like to include some drawings with your facts too. Finally tell me who you would recommend this book to and why.
