Year 2 Home Learning Task
Good morning Year 2. I hope you have been enjoying the lovely sunny weather, although the last few days have been a little bit chilly, and that you have been good for your grown-ups. Every morning I am going to set you a Challenge to complete. If you would like to do more, then that is brilliant however please make sure you complete the Challenge I set you first. You can use your homework book to do any recordings and then when we go back to school we can have a look at what you have been doing.

Todays Challenge: Monday 30th March is Maths!

I would like you to practise your times tables. Log onto the web site below, Hit the Button, and have a go at answering the times tables questions for the 1x, 2x, 5x and 10x tables.

Remember to use the bar model strategy to solve questions you are unsure of. If you don't get a high score on your first attempt, don't worry, just try again. Remember the more you practise, the better you will get!
Extension: How many of your 1x tables can you record in 5 minutes? Set the online stop watch below to 5 minutes to time yourself!

1 x 1 = 1
2 x 1 = 2
Next, repeat with the 2x, 5x and 10x tables!
