I hope you are feeling terrific this Tuesday and that you are ready for your daily Home Learning Challenge?

Today, I would like you to practise putting on your school uniform by yourself. Can you put on and take off your socks/tights, t-shirt / shirt, skirt/trousers and cardigans/jumpers?

Practise doing and undoing your zips and buttons on your coats and jackets. Can you put your shoes on the correct feet?

Reception children could also practise getting dressed ready for PE, something they will be expected to do in Year One.

While getting dressed, you can name items of clothing, body parts, count fingers and toes or discuss left and right.

Parents please encourage and support your children to get themselves dressed and undressed, not only today, but each day. This simple skill will increase their confidence and prepare them better for school.
